Russian representatives are ready to begin talks with the foreign investors involved in projects offshore Crimea according to contracts signed with the Ukrainian government, the Russian deputy environment minister, Denis Khramov, said on April 10. He said that international norms adopted by the Russian Federation would be applicable to the territory annexed from Ukraine. According to those rules, said Khramov, the authorities would negotiate with those companies that act as investors in the Black Sea shelf adjacent to the Crimean Peninsula.

REUTERS - India’s natural gas consumption is expected to rise to 70 billion cubic metres (bcm) by 2022 and 100 bcm by 2030, according to a government think tank and the Oxford Institute of Energy Studies, up from 50 bcm now.
