RUSSIA NEGOTIATES

Russian representatives are ready to begin talks with the foreign investors involved in projects offshore Crimea according to contracts signed with the Ukrainian government, the Russian deputy environment minister, Denis Khramov, said on April 10. He said that international norms adopted by the Russian Federation would be applicable to the territory annexed from Ukraine. According to those rules, said Khramov, the authorities would negotiate with those companies that act as investors in the Black Sea shelf adjacent to the Crimean Peninsula.
