РУССКИЙ ГАЗ В ХОРВАТИЮ

GAZPROM - Gazprom Export LLC and the Croatian Prvo plinarsko društvo d.o.o. signed a long-term contract on natural gas supplies for the period from 1 October 2017 to 31 December 2027. The annual supply volume within the contract amounts to 1 billion cubic meters, and 0.25 bcm is to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2017.

"Signing a long-term contract on gas supplies to Croatia is a result of a fruitful cooperation of Gazprom Export LLC and of Prvo plinarsko društvo d.o.o. I am sure that this important step will strengthen the mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries in the energy sphere", said Elena Burmistrova, Director General of Gazprom export LLC.

"We are exceptionally satisfied with signing this contract with Gazprom Export. Our cooperation with strong reliable partner provides the Croatian market with secure and reliable gas supply", said Pavao Vujnovac, President of the Board of Prvo plinarsko društvo d.o.o.

This contract follows the agreement between Gazprom export LLC and Prvo plinarsko društvo d.o.o. for the supply of natural gas in the first three quarters of 2017. Within it up to 1,48 bcm of gas will have been delivered to Croatia by the end of September, 2017.

BAHRAIN'S GDP UP 3.2%

IMF - Output grew by 3.8 percent in 2017, underpinned by a resilient non-hydrocarbon sector, with robust implementation of GCC-funded projects as well as strong activity in the financial, hospitality, and education sectors. The banking system remains stable with large capital buffers. Growth is projected to decelerate over the medium term.

NIGERIA'S GDP UP 2%

IMF - Higher oil prices and short-term portfolio inflows have provided relief from external and fiscal pressures but the recovery remains challenging. Inflation declined to its lowest level in more than two years. Real GDP expanded by 2 percent in the first quarter of 2018 compared to the first quarter of last year. However, activity in the non-oil non-agricultural sector remains weak as lower purchasing power weighs on consumer demand and as credit risk continues to limit bank lending.
