SCOTLAND WIND POWER 10 GW
ENERDATA - 18 Jan 2021 - The Crown Estate Scotland (United Kingdom) has opened the application window for registered developers to submit projects for the ScotWind leasing round, targeting up to 10 GW of offshore wind projects. The closing date for submitting applications is 31 March 2021. In October 2020, the Scottish government raised its target for offshore wind power capacity by 2030 from 8 GW to 11 GW. Scotland has currently 5.6 GW of consented offshore capacity, of which 1 GW is operational.
