U.S. OIL, GAS FOR INDIA
India's annual trade surplus with the US has averaged about $20 billion in the past four years. The US this year has withdrawn preferential treatment on some Indian exports to the US, stepping up the pressure on New Delhi, while arguing that India has not provided equitable and reasonable access to its markets.

NUCLEAR POWER - 2050: UPDOWN
The new projections to 2030 see generating capacity declining by some 8% in the low case and increasing by 25% in the high estimate. By 2050, it’s seen falling by 6% in the low scenario and rising by 80% in the high case. Compared with last year, the new estimates to 2050 are down by 33 GW(e) in the high case and up by 15 GW(e) in the low case.

U.S., CHINA LNG INVESTMENT: $3.59 BLN
Parent company Sempra Energy also announced an agreement to sell an 83.6% stake in the Peruvian Luz del Sur for $3.59 billion in cash to China Yangtze Power International, or CYP, a subsidiary of CTG, a company statement showed.

ECUADOR LEAVES OPEC
The country produced 530,000 b/d of oil in August, down from 540,000 b/d in July. Ecuador's output quota was set at 508,000 b/d under a 1.2 million b/d supply cut agreement, which went into force January 1 and runs through March 2020. Ecuador reported August production of 550,000 to OPEC.

RUSSIA'S NUCLEAR FOR BANGLADESH
Rosatom in February 2011 signed an agreement for two 1000 MWe-class reactors to be built at Rooppur for the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission. The initial contract for the project, worth USD12.65 billion, was signed in December 2015. The Bangladesh Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority issued the first site licence for the Rooppur plant in June 2016, allowing preliminary site works, including geological surveys, to begin.

ITER FUSION ENERGY
The ITER International Fusion Energy Organisation has awarded a EUR200 million (USD218 million) contract for the Tokamak Assembly (TAC2) to Dynamic. The operation will mostly be performed at the ITER site in Cadarache, France with the engineering and manufacturing support of Dynamic's founding companies - Ansaldo Nucleare, Endel Engie, Orys Group ORTEC, SIMIC, Leading and Ansaldo Energia.

UK'S FUSION INVESTMENT $246 MLN
