U.S. Rig Count is unchanged from last week at 404, with oil rigs down 2 to 316, gas rigs up 2 to 87, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1. Canadian Rig Count is down 1 rig from last week to 43, with oil rigs down 2 to 14, gas rigs up 1 to 28, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1.

“We’re facing a chance of a lifetime to become a global pricing center for commodities,” Fang Xinghai, vice chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, said at the Shanghai Futures Exchange’s annual conference in the city on Wednesday. “On the way to realize this goal, we’ll see very intense competition. We have the advantage of trading size and economic growth, but our legislation is still not sound and we lack enough talent.”

Saudi Arabia's production, on the other hand, heavily favors petroleum. Total petroleum production is made up of several different types of liquid fuels, including crude oil and lease condensate, tight oil, extra-heavy oil, and bitumen. In addition, various processes produce natural gas plant liquids (NGPL), biofuels, and refinery processing gain, among other possible liquid fuels.

IRANIAN - INDIAN COOPERATION
India said Monday it will invest up to $500 million in a deal to develop a strategic port in Iran and both countries planned a number of projects they say are worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
