Eni adjusted net profit: €0.56 billion for the quarter, down by 27% q-o-q (down by 24% excluding IFRS 16 accounting effects). €1.55 billion in the first half, down by 11% (down by 8% excluding IFRS 16 accounting effects).

ARMENIA'S GDP UP 4.6%
Looking ahead, growth is expected to moderate to a more sustainable level of 4.6 percent in 2019 and stabilize at 4.5 percent over the medium term. The authorities are aiming for higher medium-term growth supported by reform.

ENI, SONATRACH GAS CONTRACT
Eni and Sonatrach have signed agreements to renew the gas supply contract to import Algerian gas into Italy until 2027 (plus two further optional years) also defining the transportation arrangements through the pipeline crossing the Mediterranean Sea.

ARMENIA'S GDP UP 4-5%
IMF - Looking ahead, Armenia's growth is expected to moderate to about 4½ percent in 2019, reflecting a weaker global environment and copper prices, and remain in the 4-5 percent range over the medium term. CPI inflation is projected to gradually converge to the CBA’s target of 4 percent over the next two years, as one-off factors wane. The current account deficit is expected to gradually narrow to around 5 percent of GDP. The risks to the outlook are mainly external.

REUTERS - Italy’s Eni and Austria’s OMV have agreed to pay a combined $5.8 billion to take a stake in Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s (ADNOC) refining business and establish a new trading operation owned by the three partners.

SAUDIS BUDGET 2019: $295 BLN
MEOG - Saudi Arabia's Council of Ministers approved its 2019 budget, the largest in the Kingdom's history. It has planned to spend $295bn in the coming year, and estimates revenue at $260bn. Deficit is therefore estimated at $35bn, down 32% from the expected deficit for 2018, $52bn. Actual deficit in 2018 sat at $36.2bn.

OMV, ADNOC CONCESSION: 5%
ADNOC - The Abu Dhabi government and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) have awarded Austria's OMV a 5 percent stake in the Ghasha ultra-sour gas concession that comprises the Hail, Ghasha, Dalma, Nasr, Sarb and Mubarraz sour gas fields.
