PAO NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” and/or the “Company”) announced that it has signed the Share Purchase Agreement (“Agreement”) with CNOOC Ltd. (“CNOOC”) in relation to the sale of a 10% participation interest in the Arctic LNG 2 project.

PAO NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” and/or the “Company”), Total Gas & Power Business Services S.A.S, Siemens Aktiengesellschaft and JSC Zarubezhneft (Zarubezhneft) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation in Vietnam.

Today, during the official visit of the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping to the Russian Federation, PAO NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” and/or the “Company”), Sinopec and Gazprombank signed Heads of Agreement (“Agreement”) on establishing a joint venture to market LNG and natural gas to end-customers in the People’s Republic of China.

Profit attributable to shareholders of PAO NOVATEK increased to RR 381.8 billion (RR 126.74 per share), or 8.9 times, as compared to the corresponding period in 2018.

In the first quarter 2019, NOVATEK’s hydrocarbon production totaled 147.1 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe), including 18.66 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas and 2,987 thousand tons of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil), resulting in an increase in total hydrocarbons produced by 14.6 million boe, or by 11.0% as compared with the first quarter 2018.

PLATTS - Russian independent gas producer Novatek sees the resource base at Northern Yamal and Gydan peninsulas as allowing for output of 140 million mt/year of LNG, CEO Leonid Mikhelson said Friday.

NOVATEK announced that it has signed a non-binding Heads of Agreement for the supply of LNG with Repsol.
