NORWAY'S PETROLEUM PRODUCTION UP 37 TBD

NPD - Preliminary production figures for November 2016 show an average daily production of 2 153 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is an increase of 37 000 barrels per day (approx. 2 percent) compared to October.

Total gas sales were 10.8 billion Sm3 (GSm3), which is the same as previous month.

Average daily liquids production in November was: 1 739 000 barrels of oil, 380 000 barrels of NGL and 33 000 barrels of condensate. The oil production is about 9 percent above the oil production in November last year and is about 11 percent above the NPD's prognosis for December 2016. The oil production is about 5 percent above the prognosis so far this year.

The total petroleum production for the first eleven months in 2016 is about 211.8 million Sm³ oil equivalents (MSm³ o.e.), broken down as follows: about 85.6 MSm³ o.e. of oil, about 20.2 MSm³ o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 106.0 MSm³ o.e. of gas for sale. The total volume is 2.9 MSm³ o.e. higher than in 2015.

Final production figures from October 2016 show an average daily production of about 1.731 million barrels of oil, 0.384 million barrels of NGL and condensate and a total of 10.8 billion Sm³ saleable gas production.
