NEW IRAN'S CONDITIONS

According to SHANA, the government cabinet endorsed the general terms and structure of the new oil deal contract framework on Wednesday.

Cabinet ministers ratified a draft on general conditions, structure and models of upstream oil and gas contracts in a meeting headed by President Hassan Rouhani.

During the meeting, the ways for 'supervising the signing process of oil contracts' were also discussed.

The new framework will be deliberated over by the Parliament for final endorsement.

Iran is introducing a new contract framework for its energy deals to sweeten them for foreign financiers.
