NOVATEK - SIEMENS AGREEMENT
NOVATEK - 3 October 2018, during the Russian Energy Week, Chairman of the Management Board of PAO NOVATEK ("NOVATEK") Leonid Mikhelson and President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG ("Siemens") Joe Kaeser signed a Strategic Partnership and Cooperation Agreement ("Agreement").
According to the Agreement, the Parties intend to strengthen and develop the strategic partnership and cooperation in integrated gas-to-power projects on a "turn-key" basis inclusive of LNG supply, downstream and power generation, large-, mid- and small-scale LNG liquefaction plants and other topics of mutual interest.
"NOVATEK plans to significantly increase production of natural gas and LNG, and we are interested in developing the whole natural gas value chain to enhance the competitive advantages of our scalable low-cost LNG projects." – noted Leonid Mikhelson, NOVATEK's Chairman of the Management Board, "We are satisfied with our experience of working with Siemens as a reliable contractor providing equipment to our Yamal LNG project, and we are going to expand this cooperation not only in Russian Federation, but also in other countries."

YAMAL LNG - 2 LAUNCHEDNOVATEK - PAO NOVATEK announced that Yamal LNG has launched the second LNG train and dispatched the first cargo from this unit. The second LNG train commissioned six months ahead of its original schedule, and combined with the first LNG train launch in December 2017, has achieved the commissioning of the first two LNG trains in record time. |

NOVATEK'S PRODUCTION: +2.4%NOVATEK - In the first half 2018, NOVATEK’s hydrocarbons production totaled 264.3 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe), including 32.93 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas and 5,864 thousand tons of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil), resulting in an increase in total hydrocarbons production by 6.3 million boe, or by 2.4%, as compared to the first half 2017. |
