NOVATEK, SACE STRATEGIC COOPERATION
NOVATEK - PAO NOVATEK ("NOVATEK" and/or the "Company") and SACE (CDP Group) signed a Memorandum on Strategic Cooperation ("Memorandum") in relation to the Company's current and future LNG projects. The parties agreed to develop long-term cooperation on the Arctic LNG 2 project and potential new LNG projects involving Italian suppliers and engineering companies.
"We successfully cooperated with SACE in the financing of our Yamal LNG project" noted NOVATEK's Chairman of the Management Board Leonid Mikhelson. "Today's signing of our Memorandum with SACE creates new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation with Italian businesses on our future LNG projects. We welcome the interest of international export credit agencies to participate in the financing of our Arctic LNG projects."

Note:
The Arctic LNG 2 project envisages constructing three LNG trains at 6.6 million tons per annum each, using gravity-based structure (GBS) platforms. The Project is based on the hydrocarbon resources of the Utrenneye field. As of 1 December 2018, the Utrenneye field's reserves under the Russian reserves classification totaled 1,978 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 105 million tons of liquids. OOO Arctic LNG 2 owns an LNG export license.

Т.МИНЭНЕРГО РОССИИ - В ходе совещания с членами Государственной комиссии по вопросам развития Арктики Дмитрий Медведев отметил, что в настоящее время доля России на мировом рынке СПГ составляет около 4%, при этом к 2035 году она возрастет до 15-20%. При этом в случае успешной реализации проектов "Ямал СПГ" и "Арктик СПГ 2" только валютные поступления составят около $30 млрд в год, отметил Дмитрий Медведев.

RUSSIAN LNG TO EUROPEREUTERS - “Between 150 and 160 transfers will take place in the port’s fjord from November to June,” local mayor Kristina Sigursdottir Hansen told Reuters. “Ships will be coming with gas from Russia, from Yamal ... More than 300 ships actually (will be involved).”

БОЛЬШЕ РУССКОГО СПГМИНЭНЕРГО РОССИИ - «Мировой спрос на СПГ к 2035 году удвоится и составит 600 млн тонн, основным локомотивом станут страны АТР, Китай и Индия в частности. При этом, строящийся и одобренные СПГ-заводы обеспечат потребность в газе только до середины следующего десятилетия. После 2025 года для России появляется окно возможностей, суммарно для удовлетворения спроса нужно будет построить еще 250 млн т», - отметил Министр. Россия может обеспечить до 40% от уровня дополнительного спроса, заявил Александр Новак.

RUSSIAN LNG FOR GERMANYPLATTS - Novatek will hold 49% and Fluxys 51% in the joint venture, which plans to build and operate a 300,000-mt-a-year terminal for receiving and unloading mid-scale LNG carriers, keeping LNG in storage, and providing downstream LNG distribution services. |
