JAPAN'S OIL IMPORTS DOWN 15%

РЕЙТЕР - Цены на нефть малоподвижны утром в пятницу, так как опасения насчёт роста предложения сырья из США и других стран, подрывающих усилия производителей ОПЕК+, тормозят подъём рынка.
К 8.40 МСК фьючерсы на североморскую смесь Brent опустились на 0,02 процента до $65,11 за баррель.
Фьючерсные контракты на американскую лёгкую нефть WTI к этому времени торговались у отметки $61,23 за баррель, что на 0,07 процента выше предыдущего закрытия.
Согласно прогнозу Международного энергетического агентства (МЭА), мировое предложение нефти в феврале выросло на 700.000 баррелей в сутки в годовом сравнении до 97,9 миллиона баррелей в сутки.
МЭА предполагает, что уровень предложения сырья из не входящих в картель ОПЕК стран увеличится на 1,8 миллиона баррелей в сутки в этом году по сравнению с приростом на 760.000 баррелей в сутки в предыдущем.
Таким образом, рост предложения будет опережать по темпам рост спроса на нефть в 2018 году, который, по оценке агентства, составит 1,5 миллиона баррелей в сутки.
Основным драйвером роста предложения нефти на глобальном рынке станут США.
В своём мартовском обзоре Управление энергетической информации (EIA) прогнозирует, что производство сырья в стране вырастет до 11,17 миллиона баррелей в сутки к четвёртому кварталу 2018 года, а к 2019-му увеличится до 11,27 миллиона баррелей в сутки.

JAPAN'S OIL IMPORTS DOWN 15%
REUTERS - Japan's crude oil imports last month fell 15.4 percent from a year earlier to 2.99 million barrels per day (13.33 million kilolitres), the lowest for the month of February since 1969, monthly data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) showed on Friday.
Total oil sales last month rose 1.7 percent from a year earlier to 3.55 million barrels per day (bpd), or 15.79 million kilolitres.
Kerosene sales rose nearly 8 percent last month from a year earlier as temperatures were colder than normal, a METI official said.
Japan imported Tapis Blend crude from Malaysia for the first time since 2013, the official said.

PLATTS - Saudi Arabia's commitment to the OPEC-led production output cut deal was confirmed with reduced exports to key Asian outlets in 2017, but Japanese imports of Saudi crude jumped to the highest level in 35 years as the kingdom also maintained its flexibility to meet demand whenever there is a need. Japan's crude oil imports from Saudi Arabia rose 9.5% year on year to 1.295 million b/d in 2017, or 40.1% of total imports in the year, and the country's imports of Saudi crude in 2017 were the highest since 1982, according to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry data.
