U.S. RIGS UP 10 TO 1,003

BAKER HUGHES A GEU.S. Rig Count is up 10 rigs from last week to 1,003, with oil rigs up 11 to 808, gas rigs unchanged at 194, and miscellaneous rigs down 1 to 1.

U.S. Rig Count is up 164 rigs from last year's count of 839, with oil rigs up 136, gas rigs up 29, and miscellaneous rigs down 1 to 1.

The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is unchanged at 12 rigs and down 10 rigs from last year's count of 22.

Canada Rig Count is down 23 rigs from last week to 111, with oil rigs down 23 rigs to 48 and gas rigs unchanged at 63.

Canada Rig Count is down 21 rigs from last year's count of 132, with oil rigs up 6 and gas rigs down 27.

U.S. OIL PRODUCTION UP 5%

EIA - Annual average U.S. crude oil production reached 9.3 million barrels per day (b/d) in 2017, an increase of 464,000 b/d from 2016 levels after declining by 551,000 b/d in 2016. In November 2017, monthly U.S. crude oil production reached 10.07 million b/d, the highest monthly level of crude oil production in U.S. history.

BAKER HUGHES A GE - U.S. Rig Count is down 2 rigs from last week to 993, with oil rigs down 7 to 797, gas rigs up 4 to 194 and miscellaneous rigs up 1 to 2. Canada Rig Count is down 27 rigs from last week to 134, with oil rigs down 22 to 71 and gas rigs down 5 to 63.

BAKER HUGHES A GE - U.S. Rig Count is up 5 rigs from last week to 995, with oil rigs up 4 to 804, gas rigs up 1 to 190, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1. Canada Rig Count is down 58 rigs from last week to 161, with oil rigs down 51 to 93, gas rigs down 7 to 68, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 0.

U.S. PETROLEUM DEMAND: 20.3 MBD

API - Led by gasoline and seasonal demand for heating fuels, U.S. petroleum demand hit 20.3 million barrels per day (MBD) in February. Demand was up by more than a million barrels per day from February of last year, nearing record highs not seen for more than a decade.

EIA - Crude oil production from the major US onshore regions is forecast to increase 131,000 b/d month-over-month in April from 6,823 to 6,954 thousand barrels/day , gas production to increase 969 million cubic feet/day from 65,150 to 66,119 million cubic feet/day .

МИНФИН РОССИИ - Средняя цена на нефть Urals за период мониторинга с 15 августа по 14 сентября 2018 года составила $74,45568 за баррель, или $543,5 за тонну. Согласно расчетам Минфина России экспортная пошлина на нефть в РФ с 1 октября 2018 года повысится на $7,5 и составит $137,5 за тонну.

SAUDIS OIL PRODUCTION: 10.42 MBD

PLATTS - Saudi production has since risen to 10.42 million b/d in August, the country reported to OPEC in the organization's most recent monthly oil market report. Saudi Arabia's crude oil stocks, which have been declining steadily over the last three years, fell to 229.41 million barrels in July, down 11.4% since May 2017, the JODI data showed.

U.S. EIA - Crude oil production from the major US onshore regions is forecast to increase 79,000 b/d month-over-month in October from 7,515 to 7,594 thousand barrels/day , gas production to increase 961 million cubic feet/day from 72,127 to 73,088 million cubic feet/day .
