Александр Новак и Мохаммед Баркиндо обсудили текущее взаимодействие России и Организации на международном треке, а также в рамках соглашения ОПЕК+.

Russia agreed to reduce its output by 228,000 bpd to about 11.18 million bpd in 2019 as part of cuts by the group of producers, known as OPEC+, which agreed to cut their combined output by 1.2 million bpd or 1.2% of global demand.

The ‘Power of Siberia’ pipeline, due to open on Dec. 2, will pipe natural gas around 3,000 km (1,865 miles) from Russia’s Siberian fields to the fading industrial region, which has lagged the push to gas in China’s south and east.

В рамках встречи главы энергетических ведомств России и Омана обсудили многостороннее взаимодействие стран в рамках ОПЕК+, а также на площадке ФСЭГ в рамках развития газового сотрудничества стран.

“Since coal is still a major resource, we will continue to rely on coal when we need it - and right now for instance, the economy is slowing and renewables are still relatively weak,” said Lin Boqiang, dean of the China Institute for Energy Policy Studies.

With oil and gas as core of the cooperation between the two countries, China is currently eyeing new opportunities to join Qatar's upstream and downstream LNG industry in addition to plans of increasing its LNG imports from Qatar, while Chinese companies are tapping Qatar Petroleum (QP) to enter China's upstream energy industry and gain access to a 1.4 billion people market, China's Ambassador to Qatar, Zhou Jian, said at a press conference at his residence

The meeting was focused on the current issues of cooperation between the companies. Particular attention was paid to natural gas deliveries. The parties noted the contribution of the Nord Stream gas pipeline to the reliability and safety of gas supplies to consumers in Germany and Europe.

The Turkish and Azeri presidents on Saturday inaugurated the Europe link of the strategic Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP).
