BRITAIN FREEZES NORD STREAM
REUTERS - A British High Court ruling has frozen potential dividends which Russian gas giant Gazprom could receive from Nord Stream, Ukrainian state energy firm Naftogaz said on Friday.
Naftogaz said in a statement that $145 million of the dividends must be moved to the court's deposit "as a guarantee of meeting the requirements of the court".
Ukraine and Russia have been in dispute over gas issues for years, which escalated after a pro-Russian leader of Ukraine was toppled in 2014.
In 2018, a Stockholm court ordered Gazprom to pay more than $2.5 billion to Naftogaz over a different contractual dispute, but Gazprom appealed the ruling.
Earlier this year, the British High Court suspended its case in the dispute between Russia's Gazprom and Ukraine's Naftogaz until the appeal process at the Swedish court was complete.

RUSSIA'S GAS FOR EUROPE: 201.1 BCM
"Today our forecast for gas pipeline deliveries in 2019 to Europe and Turkey is between 198.6 and 201.1 Bcm," Miller said in a speech at the company's annual general meeting. Gazprom exported 201.9 Bcm to Europe in 2018, accounting for around 36.8% of the market.

GAS DEMAND WILL UP 46%
Dr. Sentyurin also highlighted that - according to the Forum’s projections - by 2040, the demand for natural gas is expected to increase at an annual average pace of 1.7%, corresponding to overall growth of 46%. Most of this demand growth will come from the Asia-Pacific region, with Europe continuing to be an attractive market for many gas producers.

RUSSIA'S GAS EXPORT 243 BLN M3
In 2018, the Gazprom Group sold 243.3 billion cubic meters of gas (both exports from the Russian Federation and sales of gas purchased abroad, including LNG) outside the former Soviet Union, with the sales revenue totaling RUB 3,770.3 billion.
