INDIA'S HYDROPOWER 10 GW
ENERDATA - 3 Dec 2020 - India has announced plans to build a 10 GW dam on the Brahmaputra (Yarlung Tsangbo) River, which flows from Tibet into India and Bangladesh. The reservoir project is expected to help offset the impacts of China’s hydropower projects upstream, that could create water scarcity or trigger flash floods.
