U.S. Rig Count is down 248 rigs from last year's count of 1,038, with oil rigs down 165, gas rigs down 85, and miscellaneous rigs up 2 to 2.
The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is unchanged at 22 unchanged year-over-year.
Canada Rig Count is down 4 rigs from last week to 240, with oil rigs down 6 to 163 and gas rigs up 2 to 77.
Canada Rig Count is up 29 rigs from last year's count of 211, with oil rigs up 23 and gas rigs up 6.

U.S. LNG COMPANIES DOWN
U.S. gas producers are counting on LNG exports to absorb record production from the shale boom. Those exports jumped 68% to a record 5.0 billion cubic feet per day in 2019 after soaring 53% in 2018.
