THE NEW CHINA'S PLATFORM
OM - Jan 26th, 2021 - CNOOC has taken delivery of a 100,000-ton deepwater semisubmersible production and storage platform, built to ABS Class.
The company will now start installation and commissioning on the platform for its Lingshui 17-2 gas field development, in 1,500 m (4,921 ft) water depth.
According to ABS, the platform has a maximum condensate storage capacity of close to 20,000 cu m for ship-to-ship offloading.
