REUTERS - U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures CLc1 were at $60.77 a barrel at 0753 GMT, up 6 cents, or 0.1 percent, from their previous settlement. Brent crude futures LCOc1 were at $64.62 per barrel, down just 2 cents from their last close.

OIL PRICES 2018 - 19: $62

EIA - North Sea Brent crude oil spot prices averaged $65 per barrel (b) in February, a decrease of $4/b from the January level and the first month-over-month average decrease since June 2017. EIA forecasts Brent spot prices will average about $62/b in both 2018 and 2019 compared with an average of $54/b in 2017.

FINLAND WIND POWER 1.3 GW

ENERDATA - 21 Dec 2021 - The Finnish state-owned environmental services enterprise Metsähallitus has initiated a partner selection process for its proposed 1,300 MW Korsnäs offshore wind power project, to be located around 15 km off the coast of Korsnäs (Ostrobothnia) in Finland. The company has invited both domestic and international investors (companies or consortia), into the selection process. Metsähallitus will act as a project developer and the project will remain owned by the Finnish state. The group aims to complete the partner selection process in 2022 and to start commercial operations in 2028 at the earliest. The €1.5-2.5bn project, which is expected to generate 5 TWh/year, will comprise 70-100 turbines with a capacity of 12-20 MW.
