ENERDATA19 Apr 2021 - The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has initiated a tender for 1,200 MW of wind-solar projects, under the tranche IV of the interstate transmission-connected (ISTS) programme. Project developers are allowed to bid for a minimum capacity of 50 MW, and up to a maximum of 1,200 MW until 28 May 2021.

In December 2020, SECI awarded 1,200 MW of wind-solar projects under tranche III of the ISTS programme. Adani Renewables, ABC Renewables (an affiliate of Axis Energy) and Amp Energy won 600 MW, 380 MW, and 130 MW of projects, respectively, at a tariff of INR2.41/kWh (US$3.24c/kWh). In addition, ACME Solar submitted a bid of INR2.42/kWh (US$3.25c/kWh) for 300 MW of projects but was only awarded 90 MW under the bucket-filling method.
