RENEWABLE FOR INDIA 1.2 GW
ENERDATA - 28 May 2021 - The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has initiated a tender for 1,200 MW of grid-connected wind projects. Project developers are allowed to bid for a minimum capacity of 50 MW, and up to a maximum of 1,200 MW until 6 July 2021. The successful projects, which are to be developed on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis, will have to be completed within 18 months and will sign 25-year power purchase agreements (PPA) with SECI. SECI will then sell procured power to distribution companies of Madhya Pradesh.
