AUSTRALIA'S GREEN HYDROGEN

ENERDATA27 Sep 2021 - Edify Energy has received approval to build and operate a 1 GW green hydrogen production plant and a solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage project within the Lansdown Eco-Industrial Precinct in Townsville, Queensland (Australia). The company plans to start generating hydrogen from a pilot scale facility of 10 MW and to later ramp up installed capacity. Edify Energy already operates a portfolio of around 800 MW of renewables and energy storage projects in Australia (773 MWp of utility-scale solar projects and a 25 MW/50 MWh battery energy storage system).
