CHINA SOLAR POWER 3 GW

ENERDATA 21 Sep 2021 - The Golmud Wutumeiren solar-plus-storage project has entered construction in Golmud, in Qinghai province (China). The power plant has a total capacity of 3.3 GW, with 3 GW of solar photovoltaics (PV), 300 MW of concentrated solar power (CSP) and also includes 600 MW of molten salt energy storage, and a 520 MW energy storage system. The project is developed by Qinhai New Energy. Commissioning is scheduled by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2020-2025).
