SPAIN RENEWABLES UP
ENERDATA - 10 Sep 2021 - The Spanish Secretariat of State for Energy has scheduled the new auction for 3.3 GW of renewables capacity for 19 October 2021. 600 MW is reserved for wind and solar projects which must be commissioned by the end of September 2022. Onshore wind and solar projects are allocated 1,500 MW and 700 MW respectively, while 300 MW will go to distributed solar generation projects. 200 MW will be offered freely to any technology. Onshore wind projects should enter commercial operations by the end of June 2024, while solar projects have to be commissioned in 2023.
