GERMANY'S WIND ENERGY 1.3 GW

ENERDATA14 Mar 2022 - The German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur or BNetzA) has published the results of the latest tenders for onshore wind with a bidding date set for 1 February 2022. The auction for 1,328 MW of onshore wind capacity attracted 147 bids totalling 1,356 MW. 6 bids were excluded and 1,332 MW were awarded, with prices ranging from €4.77c/kWh to €5.88c/kWh (weighted average of €5.76c/kWh, -0.5% compared to the previous round). The maximum value was set at €5.88c/kWh in this round. Most of the projects will be developed in Lower Saxony (326 MW), North Rhine-Westphalia (275 MW) and Schleswig-Holstein (259 MW).
