International Rig Count is down 28 rigs from last month to 813 with land rigs down 21 to 625, offshore rigs down 7 to 188.
International Rig Count is up 112 rigs from last year's count of 701, with land rigs up 89, offshore rigs up 23.
The average U.S. Rig Count for February was 636 up 35 from last months count of 601 and up 238 year-over-year.
The average Canada Rig Count for February was 220 up 30 from last months count of 190 and up 49 year-over-year.
The Worldwide Rig Count for February was 1,669, up 37 from the 1,632 counted in January 2022,and up 399 from the 1,270 counted in February 2021.

The Worldwide Rig Count for January was 1,632, up 69 from the 1,563 counted in December 2021,and up 449 from the 1,183 counted in January 2021.

World oil demand was seen rising by 5.5 million b/d in 2021 and by 3.3 million b/d in 2022, the IEA said, surpassing its pre-pandemic levels by 200,000 b/d to 99.7 million b/d.

Underlying oil demand fundaments remain strong going into 2022. Pent-up demand is already stretching supply lines to the limit while booster jabs and previous infections lower the chance of serious harm from the virus.
