SAUDI ARABIA, EGYPT INVESTMENT $7.7 BLN
BLOOMBERG - June 21, 2022 - Egypt and Saudi Arabia signed 14 investment deals valued at $7.7 billion, the Egyptian state-run Middle East News Agency reported Tuesday, as the oil-rich kingdom’s de facto ruler visits the North African nation.
The announcement was made by Saudi Arabia’s commerce minister during a meeting of the Egyptian-Saudi Business Council. The agreements cover a range of sectors, including renewable energy, green hydrogen, pharmaceuticals and e-commerce, MENA said.
