U.S. RIGS UP 4 TO 756

BAKER HUGHES - July 15, 2022 -   

U.S. Rig Count is up 4 from last week to 756 with oil rigs up 2 to 599, gas rigs unchanged at 153 and miscellaneous rigs up 2 to 4.

U.S. Rig Count is up 272 rigs from last year's count of 484 with oil rigs up 219, gas rigs up 49 and miscellaneous rigs up 4.

The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is down 3 to 14, down 3 year-over-year.

Canada Rig Count is up 16 from last week to 191, with oil rigs up 9 to 125, gas rigs up 7 to 66.

Canada Rig Count is up 41 rigs from last year's count of 150, with oil rigs up 31, gas rigs up 11 and miscellaneous rigs down 1.

RUSSIAN OIL FOR INDIA UP
In May, India imported 819,000 barrels per day (bpd), from 277,000 bpd in April and 33,000 bpd a year ago. Russia is now the second biggest supplier to India, replacing Saudi Arabia, while Iraq continues to be the largest.

U.S. commercial crude oil inventories increased by 2.0 million barrels to 418.7 million barrels.
