BAKER HUGHES - August 4, 2023 - International Rig Count is down 6 rigs from last month to 961 with land rigs down 12 to 730, offshore rigs up 6 to 231.
International Rig Count is up 128 rigs from last year's count of 833, with land rigs up 97, offshore rigs up 31.
The average U.S. Rig Count for July was 673 down 14 from last month and down 83 year-over-year.
The average Canada Rig Count for July was 186 up 40 rigs from last month count of 146 and unchanged year-over-year.
The Worldwide Rig Count for July was 1,820, up 20 from the 1,800 counted in June 2023, and up 45, from the 1,775 counted in July 2022.

The Worldwide Rig Count for June was 1,800, up 17 from the 1,783 counted in May 2023, and up 94, from the 1,706 counted in June 2022.

Brent were up 20 cents, or 0.3%, at $76.72 a barrel, WTI gained 19 cents, also 0.3%, to $71.99 a barrel.
