BAKER HUGHES - September 1, 2023 - International Rig Count is down 9 rigs from last month to 952 with land rigs down 13 to 717, offshore rigs up 4 to 235.
International Rig Count is up 92 rigs from last year's count of 860, with land rigs up 67, offshore rigs up 25.
The average U.S. Rig Count for August was 647 down 26 from last month and down 117 year-over-year.
The average Canada Rig Count for August was 189 up 3 rigs from last month count of 186 and down 12 year-over-year.
The Worldwide Rig Count for August was 1,788, down 32 from the 1,820 counted in July 2023, and down 37, from the 1,825 counted in August 2022.

The Worldwide Rig Count for June was 1,800, up 17 from the 1,783 counted in May 2023, and up 94, from the 1,706 counted in June 2022.
