The average U.S. Rig Count for April was 617 down 8 from last month and down 135 year-over-year.
The average Canada Rig Count for April was 131 down 66 rigs from last month count of 197 and up 22 year-over-year.
The Worldwide Rig Count for April was 1,726, down 67 from the 1,793 counted in March 2024, and down 82,from the 1,808 counted in April 2023.

The Worldwide Rig Count for March was 1,793, down 20 from the 1,813 counted in February 2024, and down 86,from the 1,878 counted in March 2023.
