RUSSIA: COMMITMENT TO OPEC+
MINISTRY OF ENERGY OF RUSSIA - Aug 9, 2024 - On reducing Russia’s oil production levels within OPEC+ framework
The Russian Federation retains its full commitment to the OPEC Plus agreement.
Russia's production in July has further decreased comparing to June, coming at 67kbpd above the target levels, due to one-off supply scheduling issues, with the August and September levels set to remedy this.
As previously agreed, Russia will compensate for the surplus in production since April 2024 during the compensation period, distributed between the months of October-November 2024 and in the period from March until the end of September 2025.
Russia reaffirms its commitment to its compensation schedule which has earlier been submitted to the OPEC Secretariat and urges other OPEC Plus countries who have submitted their compensation plans to adhere to them.

OPEC+RUSSIA: HIGH CONFORMITY
The Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) reviewed the crude oil production data for the months of May and June 2024 and noted the high overall conformity for participating OPEC and non-OPEC countries of the Declaration of Cooperation (DoC).

ОПЕК+РОССИЯ: ВЫСОКОЕ СООТВЕТСТВИЕ
Ряд государств, входящих в ОПЕК+ (Россия, Саудовская Аравия, Алжир, Ирак, Кувейт, ОАЭ, Казахстан и Оман), которые ранее взяли на себя обязательства добровольного дополнительного сокращения добычи нефти на 2,2 млн баррелей в сутки, объявили о том, что после сентября 2024 года могут постепенно корректировать параметры сделки и наращивать добычу нефти в зависимости от рыночных условий.

Участники ОПЕК+ приняли решение продлить действующие в 2024 году целевые уровни по добыче нефти на весь 2025 год. При этом принято решение о частичном поэтапном восстановлении добровольных сокращений добычи начиная с октября 2024.
