The average U.S. Rig Count for January was 582 down 7 from last month count of 589 and down 38 year-over-year.
The average Canada Rig Count for January was 208 up 47 rigs from last month count of 162 and up 11 year-over-year.
The Worldwide Rig Count for January was 1,696, up 36 from the 1,660 counted in December 2024, and down 87, from the 1,783 counted in January 2024.

OPEC OIL PRODUCTION UP
Supplies from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries increased by 370,000 barrels a day to 29.9 million a day in October, according to a Bloomberg survey. The gain was tempered by reductions in Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia.
