U.S. LNG UP
EIA - In August 2017, total U.S. natural gas liquefaction capacity in the Lower 48 states increased to 2.8 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) following the completion of the fourth liquefaction unit at the Sabine Pass liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Louisiana. With increasing liquefaction capacity and utilization, U.S. LNG exports averaged 1.9 Bcf/d, and capacity utilization averaged 80% this year, based on data through November.

U.S. DEFICIT UP TO $48.7 BLN
BEA - The U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, through the Department of Commerce, announced today that the goods and services deficit was $48.7 billion in October, up $3.8 billion from $44.9 billion in September, revised. October exports were $195.9 billion, down less than $0.1 billion from September exports. October imports were $244.6 billion, $3.8 billion more than September imports.

BEA - Real gross domestic product (GDP) increased at an annual rate of 3.3 percent in the third quarter of 2017, according to the "second" estimate released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. In the second quarter, real GDP increased 3.1 percent.

U.S. PETROLEUM DEMAND UP TO 19.9 MBD
API - Total petroleum deliveries in October moved up by 1.1 percent from October 2016 to average 19.9 million barrels per day. These were the highest October deliveries in 10 years, since 2007. Compared with September, total domestic petroleum deliveries, a measure of U.S. petroleum demand, decreased 1.8 percent. For year-to-date, total domestic petroleum deliveries moved up 1.2 percent compared to the same period last year.

U.S. INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION UP 0.9%
FRB - Industrial production rose 0.9 percent in October, and manufacturing increased 1.3 percent. The index for utilities rose 2.0 percent, but mining output fell 1.3 percent, as Hurricane Nate caused a sharp but short-lived decline in oil and gas drilling and extraction. Even so, industrial activity was boosted in October by a return to normal operations after Hurricanes Harvey and Irma suppressed production in August and September. Excluding the effects of the hurricanes, the index for total output advanced about 0.3 percent in October, and the index for manufacturing advanced about 0.2 percent.

U.S. - CHINA LNG
China’s top state oil major Sinopec, one of the country’s top banks and its sovereign wealth fund have agreed to help develop Alaska’s liquefied natural gas sector as part of U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit, the U.S. government said on Thursday. The agreement will involve investment of up to $43 billion, create up to 12,000 U.S. jobs during construction, reduce the trade deficit between the United States and Asia by $10 billion a year, and give China clean energy.

TESCO NET LOSS $38.8 MLN
TESCO reported a U.S. GAAP net loss of $13.0 million, or $(0.28) per share, in the third quarter of 2017. Adjusted net loss for the quarter was $9.2 million, or $(0.20) per share, excluding special items, consisting primarily of charges related to restructuring and transaction costs. Restructuring costs were mainly for facility consolidation and headcount reductions in Latin America. This compares to a U.S. GAAP net loss of $12.1 million, or $(0.26) per diluted share, in the second quarter of 2017, and a U.S. GAAP net loss of $22.1 million, or (0.48) per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2016. Adjusted net loss in the second quarter of 2017 was $11.6 million, or $(0.25) per diluted share, and in the third quarter of 2016 was $17.3 million, or $(0.37) per diluted share.
