SB Energy India has a total renewable portfolio of 4,954 MW across four states in India

The last national electricity plan of 2018 predicts a renewable energy capacity of 275GW by 2027, with plans for significant coal capacity additions (to the order of 50GW) during 2017-2022 as well as 2022-27.

The development follows the Indian and French governments signing the Industrial Way Forward Agreement on 10 March 2018 to enable cooperation between the two countries, thereby improving the energy sector and economies through knowledge and technology sharing.
