NPD - Preliminary production figures for October 2017 show an average daily production of 1 901 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is an increase of 141 000 barrels per day compared to September.

Gazprom's natural gas supplies to western Europe edged up by 3% year on year in the third quarter of 2017, according to an S&P Global Platts analysis of Gazprom data, as Russian gas deliveries to its core markets continue to outpace last year's levels.

Rosneft closed the deal to acquire a 30% stake in the concessions agreement for the development of Zohr field, the largest gas field in the Mediterranean Sea, from Italian company Eni S.p.A.

Gazprom Export LLC and the Croatian Prvo plinarsko društvo d.o.o. signed a long-term contract on natural gas supplies for the period from 1 October 2017 to 31 December 2027. The annual supply volume within the contract amounts to 1 billion cubic meters, and 0.25 bcm is to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2017.

We want companies with the ability and willingness to utilise new knowledge and advanced technology. French oil company Total agreed Monday to buy Danish conglomerate AP Moller-Maersk's oil business for $7.45 billion, in a deal that will strengthen its position in the North Sea.
