CHEVRON NET LOSS $588 MLN
Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) reported a loss of $588 million ($0.31 per share – diluted) for fourth quarter 2015, compared with earnings of $3.5 billion ($1.85 per share – diluted) in the 2014 fourth quarter. Foreign currency effects increased earnings in the 2015 quarter by $46 million, compared with an increase of $432 million a year earlier.

US oil major Chevron said on Tuesday it planned to sell up to 1m metric tonnes of LNG a year to China Huadian Green Energy from 2020, ensuring 80 per cent of gas from its Gorgon and Wheatstone projects is committed in long-term contracts.

CHEVRON NET INCOME $5,2 BLN
Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) reported earnings of $2.0 billion ($1.09 per share – diluted) for third quarter 2015, compared with earnings of $5.6 billion ($2.95 per share – diluted) in the 2014 third quarter. Chevron has started to eliminate jobs at its Covington office as part of global layoffs sparked by low oil and gas prices prices. The company has not disclosed how deep the cuts will be.
