The technology of obtaining energy using biogas is simple and cheap. Of course, it also pollutes the environment, but its main problem is the impossibility of generating energy on an industrial scale. This technology is applicable in agriculture on farms, but it is not possible to power a factory, a city or a village from it.

NPD - Preliminary production figures for April 2019 show an average daily production of 1 729 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is a decrease of 24 000 barrels per day compared to March.

The HOA anticipates the negotiation and finalization of a definitive 20-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) sale-and-purchase agreement (SPA) for 5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) of LNG offtake from Phase 1 of the Port Arthur LNG export project under development.

NOVATEK announced that its joint venture Arctic LNG 2 and TechnipFMC signed a contract on engineering, procurement, supply, construction and commissioning of an integrated liquefied natural gas facility with annual liquefaction capacity of 19.8 million tons under the Arctic LNG 2 project. The contract terms provide for the launch of the first train of the project in 2023.

Real GDP growth is projected to decline to 1.5 percent in 2019, partly reflecting a disappointing first quarter and more subdued global growth.
