NOVATEK - TOTAL - SIEMENS FOR VIETNAM
NOVATEK - PAO NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” and/or the “Company”) announced today that its subsidiary NOVATEK Gas and Power Asia Pte Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Total Gas & Power Business Services S.A.S and Siemens Aktiengesellschaft.

NOV VARCO NET LOSS $221 MLN
National Oilwell Varco, Inc. (NYSE: NOV) reported a third quarter 2017 net loss of $26 million, or $0.07 per share. Revenues for the third quarter of 2017 were $1.84 billion, an increase of four percent compared to the second quarter of 2017 and an increase of eleven percent from the third quarter of 2016. Operating loss for the third quarter was $7 million, or 0.4 percent of sales. Adjusted EBITDA (operating profit excluding other items before depreciation and amortization) for the third quarter was $167 million, or 9.1 percent of sales, an increase of $25 million from the second quarter of 2017. Cash flow from operations for the third quarter was $232 million.

NOVATEK'S PROFIT ₽112 BLN
In the third quarter of 2017, our total revenues amounted to RR 130.7 billion and Normalized EBITDA, including our share in EBITDA of joint ventures, totalled RR 59.3 billion, representing increases of 3.3% and 2.7%, respectively, as compared to the corresponding period in 2016.

NOVATEK DOWN 7.5%
NOVATEK’s marketable hydrocarbons production totaled 374.7 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe), including 46.03 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas and 8,806 thousand tons of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil), resulting in a decrease in total hydrocarbons production by 30.4 million boe, or by 7.5%, as compared with the nine months 2016.

NOV VARCO NET LOSS $75 MLN
National Oilwell Varco, Inc. (NYSE: NOV) reported a second quarter 2017 net loss of $75 million, or $0.20 per share. Excluding other items, net loss for the quarter was $54 million, or $0.14 per share. Other items totaled $30 million, pretax, and primarily consisted of charges related to severance and facility closures.

NOVATEK'S PROFIT DOWN 38.7%
Profit attributable to NOVATEK shareholders decreased by 38.7% to RR 71.0 billion (RR 23.54 per share), as compared to RR 115.9 billion (RR 38.40 per share) in the first quarter 2016. The amount of profit was significantly impacted by the foreign exchange effect (including at the joint ventures level), and its dynamics – by the effect of the disposals of interests in joint ventures. Net of these effects, our adjusted profit attributable to NOVATEK shareholders increased by 20.2% to RR 44.3 billion compared with the first quarter 2016.

NOV VARCO NET LOSS $122 MLN
Revenues for the first quarter of 2017 were $1.74 billion, an increase of three percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2016 and a decrease of 20 percent from the first quarter of 2016. Operating loss for the first quarter was $97 million, or 5.6 percent of sales. Excluding other items, operating loss was $70 million, or 4.0 percent of sales. Adjusted EBITDA (operating profit excluding other items before depreciation and amortization) for the first quarter was $105 million, or 6.0 percent of sales, an increase of $3 million from the fourth quarter of 2016. Cash flow from operations for the first quarter was $111 million.

NOVATEK PROFIT UP 246%
Profit attributable to NOVATEK shareholders increased by more than three-fold to RR 257.8 billion (RR 85.41 per share), as compared to RR 74.4 billion (RR 24.63 per share) in 2015.
