U.S. RELEASES 13.4 MB
Today, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) approved seven additional exchanges of 13.4 million barrels of crude oil for release from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR).

RUSSIAN OIL FOR U.S. UP
Shipments of Russian crude to the US in 2021 averaged 202,000 b/d, the highest in 11 years. Most of these imports consist of Russian export grades, such as Urals, ESPO Blend and Varandey.

World oil demand was seen rising by 5.5 million b/d in 2021 and by 3.3 million b/d in 2022, the IEA said, surpassing its pre-pandemic levels by 200,000 b/d to 99.7 million b/d.
