Iraq is fully committed to delivering on OPEC’s Nov. 30 agreement to reduce supplies, Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi said Thursday in Cairo at a meeting of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries, known as OAPEC.

According to latest data published by oil ministry’s Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC), LNG imports in October were 2.26bn m³, up almost 18.6% compared with the same month last year. Cumulative imports too remain substantially higher. For the April-October period, India’s LNG imports were 14.9bn m³, up by 25% on year.

Petroleo Brasileiro SA said on Wednesday it will sell $2.2 billion worth of assets to France's Total SA, including stakes in oilfields and two thermal power stations.

Russia's gas production, including associated petroleum gas, is estimated at 637 Bcm in 2016, which would represent a marginal increase of 0.2% year on year, energy minister Alexander Novak said late Tuesday.

The annual volume of the global gas trade is expected to increase from around 1,000bn m3 currently to 1,650bn m3 by 2040; an absolute growth of 65%.

China's state oil and gas majors are set to import record levels of liquefied natural gas (LNG) this month, betting on robust demand during the cold winter months and helping lift Asian prices to their highest in nearly two years.

Preliminary production figures for November 2016 show an average daily production of 2 153 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is an increase of 37 000 barrels per day (approx. 2 percent) compared to October.

Раньше они балансировали рынок самостоятельно, но в настоящий момент вряд ли страны ОПЕК приняли бы решение о сокращении добычи без нас. В этот раз для ОПЕК было важно участие в сокращении добычи и других стран-производителей, чтобы достичь желаемого эффекта.

В соответствии с утвержденным бюджетом (финансовым планом) ПАО «Газпром», объем финансирования Инвестиционной программы в 2017 году составит 910,67 млрд руб. При этом на проекты капитального строительства предусмотрено 625,455 млрд руб., на приобретение в собственность ПАО «Газпром» внеоборотных активов — 0,125 млрд руб. Объем долгосрочных финансовых вложений — 285,09 млрд руб.
