SAUDI ARABIA'S OIL EXPORTS UP
Crude exports rose to 7.307 million b/d in February, the highest since the record 10.237 million b/d, from 6.996 million b/d in January, the JODI data published April 18 showed. Production climbed to 10.225 million b/d from 10.145 million b/d.

RUSSIAN COAL FOR INDIA
Sources said that India bought 5,500 kcal/kg NAR coal from Russia at $160-$165/mt CFR India for an April-loading Capesize ship in the week ended April 16, adding that the freight between Russia and West coast India was at around $35-$36/mt.

S.KOREA'S LNG UPDOWN
To meet the strong domestic demand, South Korea's LNG imports led by Kogas jumped 18% year on year to 4.992 million mt in March despite higher imports prices, as part of efforts to build up stockpiles amid rising import prices due to the ongoing Ukraine-Russia crisis.

U.S. GHG EMISSIONS DOWN
US greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (including LULUCF) declined by 11% in 2020 to 5,222 MtCO2eq, i.e., 21% below 2005 levels, according to the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

JAPAN'S GHG EMISSIONS DOWN
Japan’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions decreased by 5.1% in the financial year 2020-2021 (April 2020-March 2021) to 1,150 MtCO2eq, their lowest level since 1990-1991, according to final figures from the Japanese Ministry of the Environment.
