Australia’s LNG exports rose by 2% last month following a worldwide rise in demand for the product.

U.S. Rig Count is up 17 rigs from last week to 481, with oil rigs up 15 to 396, gas rigs up 2 to 83, and miscellaneous unchanged at 2. Canadian Rig Count is up 4 rigs from last week to 126, with oil rigs up 5 to 65, gas rigs unchanged at 60, and miscellaneous rigs down 1 to 1.

Russia’s president Vladimir Putin said there were no doubts that Turkish Stream will happen and work could start soon. He was speaking at a joint press conference with Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan August 9.

The group exploited 10.32 million tons of crude oil and 6.56 billion cubic metres of gas in the first seven months.

Gazprom's sales volume to its core ‘Europe and other’ markets in 1Q grew by 49% to 58.1bn m³, an increase of 19bn m³ on 39.1bn m³ in January-March 2015. Sales to former Soviet countries declined by 15.5% (by 2bn m³) to 10.9bn m³, while those in Russia declined more modestly to 75.4bn m³, just 6% or 4.9bn m³ less than in 1Q 2015.

Turkey is Gazprom's second biggest export market after Germany. In 2015 Gazprom exported about 27bn m3 of gas to Turkey. Currently Russian gas is exported to Turkey via the Blue Stream gas pipeline and the Trans Balkan gas pipeline.

"Oil exports has risen to 2,500,000 barrels per day and children of the Iranian nation (officials) have been capable of moving the stopped wheels of oil production and regaining the past markets through increase in the production."

Indonesia is looking to increase imports of LPG, petrochemical products and crude oil from Iran in the near future. Earlier this year, Indonesia inked a deal to buy LPG from Iran.

Iran has already built 900 km length of the pipeline on its territory while Pakistan still has to start work on the pipeline. Once the pipeline is operational, about 250 million cubic feet gas would be imported from Iran during first year, while in the second year the import of gas would be enhanced to 500 million cubic feet while in the third year 750 million cubic feet gas would be imported.
