LATIN AMERICA, CARRIBEAN GDP UP 0.6%
Economic activity in Latin America and the Caribbean remains sluggish. Real GDP is expected to grow by 0.6 percent in 2019—the slowest rate since 2016—before rising to 2.3 percent in 2020.

IRAQ'S GDP UP 4.6%
The fiscal and external positions are expected to continue to deteriorate over the medium term absent policy changes—with reserves falling below adequate levels and fiscal buffers eroded. Although the level of public debt will remain sustainable, gross fiscal financing needs will increase. Non-oil GDP growth is projected to reach 5½ in 2019 but subside over the medium term.

KUWAIT'S OIL REVENUE $60.7 BLN
Kuwait reported oil revenue of $60.7bn for the 2018 fiscal year ending March 31, 2019, according to state news agency KUNA. This is a 24% increase from the previous year. Its non-oil revenue also grew 24% to hit $6.9bn.

TC ENERGY SELLS $2.87 BLN
TC Energy Corporation (TSX:TRP) (NYSE:TRP) (TC Energy) announced that it has entered into an agreement through its wholly-owned subsidiary, TransCanada Energy Ltd., to sell interests in three Ontario natural gas-fired power plants to a subsidiary of Ontario Power Generation Inc., for approximately $2.87 billion.

CONOCO EARNINGS $1.6 BLN
ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) reported second-quarter 2019 earnings of $1.6 billion, or $1.40 per share, compared with second-quarter 2018 earnings of $1.6 billion, or $1.39 per share.

OIL PRICE: NEAR $64 ANEW
Brent crude LCOc1 rose 46 cents, or 0.7%, to $64.17 a barrel by 0651 GMT, after gaining 0.4% the previous session. U.S. crude CLc1 was up 41 cents or 0.7%, at $57.28 a barrel, having risen 1.2% on Monday.
