NOV VARCO NET LOSS $31 MLN
NOV - National Oilwell Varco, Inc. (NYSE: NOV) reported fourth quarter 2018 revenues of $2.40 billion, an increase of 11 percent compared to the third quarter of 2018 and an increase of 22 percent from the fourth quarter of 2017. Operating profit for the fourth quarter of 2018 was $87 million, or 3.6 percent of sales, Adjusted EBITDA (operating profit excluding depreciation, amortization, and other items) was $279 million, or 11.6 percent of sales, and net income was $12 million. Operating profit increased 19 percent sequentially, and Adjusted EBITDA increased 14 percent sequentially and 42 percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2017. Other items totaled $21 million, pre-tax, and were primarily related to charges associated with the closure of one of the Company’s facilities.

NOVATEK RESERVES: +4%
NOVATEK - Total SEC proved reserves, including the Company’s proportionate share in joint ventures, aggregated 15,789 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe), including 2,177 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas and 181 million metric tons (mmt) of liquid hydrocarbons. Total proved reserves increased by 4% compared to the year-end 2017, representing a reserve replacement rate of 222% for the year, addition of 1,218 million boe, inclusive of 2018 production.

NOVATEK'S GAS PRODUCTION: +10%

NOVATEK PRODUCTION +6.9%
NOVATEK - In 2018, NOVATEK’s hydrocarbon production totaled 548.4 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe), including 68.81 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas and 11,800 thousand tons of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil), resulting in an increase in total hydrocarbons produced by 35.1 million boe, or by 6.9% as compared with the twelve months 2017.

RUSSIAN LNG FOR ASIA
BLOOMBERG - Russia’s Novatek PJSC is looking at storing liquefied natural gas produced in the Arctic on Japan’s southern island of Kyushu so it can better meet spot demand from China and cut shipping costs.

NOVATEK, SACE STRATEGIC COOPERATION
NOVATEK - PAO NOVATEK ("NOVATEK" and/or the "Company") and SACE (CDP Group) signed a Memorandum on Strategic Cooperation (“Memorandum”) in relation to the Company's current and future LNG projects. The parties agreed to develop long-term cooperation on the Arctic LNG 2 project and potential new LNG projects involving Italian suppliers and engineering companies.

SAIPEM, RENAISSANCE IN RUSSIAN LNG
SAIPEM - Saipem, in Joint Venture with Renaissance, a Turkish oil&gas services company, has been awarded a new Onshore E&C project in the Russian Federation worth 2.2 billion Euro overall. As leader of the JV, with a shareholding of 50%, Saipem’s portion of the total amount is therefore approximately 1.1 billion Euro.

МИНЭНЕРГО РОССИИ - В ходе совещания с членами Государственной комиссии по вопросам развития Арктики Дмитрий Медведев отметил, что в настоящее время доля России на мировом рынке СПГ составляет около 4%, при этом к 2035 году она возрастет до 15-20%. При этом в случае успешной реализации проектов "Ямал СПГ" и "Арктик СПГ 2" только валютные поступления составят около $30 млрд в год, отметил Дмитрий Медведев.
