U.S. BLS - Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 250,000 in October, and the unemployment rate was unchanged at 3.7 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Job gains occurred in health care, in manufacturing, in construction, and in transportation and warehousing.

EXXONMOBIL - Exxon Mobil Corporation announced estimated third quarter 2018 earnings of $6.2 billion, or $1.46 per share assuming dilution, compared with $4 billion a year earlier.

BHGE - U.S. Rig Count is down 1 rig from last week to 1,067, with oil rigs down 1 to 874 and gas rigs unchanged at 193. Canada Rig Count is down 2 rigs from last week to 198, with oil rigs down 3 to 121, gas rigs up 1 to 77, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 0.

REUTERS - Front-month Brent crude futures were at $72.88 per barrel at 0737 GMT on Friday, 1 cent below their last close. They first fell on Friday on surging supplies, before rising with global markets and then dipping again on the back of the reported Iran sanctions waivers. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were down 33 cents, or 0.5 percent, at $63.36 a barrel.

U.S. EIA - U.S. crude oil production reached 11.3 million barrels per day (b/d) in August 2018,

EBRD - Economic growth in Russia is expected to hold steady at 1.5 per cent this year and into 2019 as the positive impact of higher oil prices is offset by the negative economic consequences of sanctions imposed by the United States of America and the European Union (EU), said the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

IMF - Egypt's GDP growth accelerated from 4.2 percent in 2016/17 to 5.3 percent in 2017/18 while unemployment declined to below 10 percent.

PLATTS - Bangladesh's natural gas demand projection for fiscal year ending June 2019 has been revised up 8.5% to 1.35 Tcf on rising LNG imports, state-owned Petrobangla's general manager for production and marketing Anwarul Islam said

REPSOL - Repsol posted net income of 2.171 billion euros in the first nine months of the year, an increase of 37% over the same period of the previous year, and the highest 9-month result in the last decade.

REUTERS - Benchmark Brent crude oil LCOc1 was up 80 cents at $76.71 a barrel by 0840 GMT. The contract fell 1.8 percent on Tuesday, at one point touching its lowest since Aug. 24 at $75.09. U.S. light crude CLc1 was up 60 cents at $66.78. It hit a two-month low of $65.33 a barrel on Tuesday.

PLATTS - Consolidation through the oil and gas sector is heating up, spurred in many cases by too many small companies, lack of operator scale, profits and in the oilfield services segment, an inability to raise prices after the recent downturn, industry executives said

Modular means that the major components of the SMR will be built in a factory and assembled on-site. By being small and modular, SMRs have many advantages when compared to traditional large reactors.

REUTERS - Front-month Brent crude oil futures LCOc1 were trading down 46 cents, or 0.6 percent, at $77.16 a barrel at 0745 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures CLc1 were at $67.19 a barrel, down 40 cents, or 0.6 percent.

OPEC - The JMMC noted that countries participating in the ‘Declaration of Cooperation’ achieved a conformity level of 111% in September 2018, which shows significant progress towards the goal set at the 4th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting of 23 June 2018.

REUTERS - Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Saturday there was no reason for Russia to freeze or cut its oil production levels, noting that there were risks that global oil markets could be facing a deficit.
