OPEC EXTENDS CORRECTIONS
In view of the current fundamentals and the consensus view on the outlook for the remainder of 2019, the Conference decided to extend the voluntary production adjustments agreed at the 175th Meeting of the OPEC Conference for an additional period of nine months from 01 July 2019 to 31 March 2020.

U.S. FINANCIAL RISKS UP
In addition, a number of medium-term risks are growing. The financial system appears healthy but vulnerabilities in leveraged corporates and, potentially, in the nonbank system are elevated by historical standards. An abrupt reversal of the recent supportive financial market conditions or a deepening of ongoing trade disputes represent material risks to the U.S. economy, with concomitant negative outward spillovers. The U.S. public debt-to-GDP ratio is on an unsustainable path and is expected to continue rising throughout the medium-term, as aging related spending rises.

GAS DEMAND WILL UP 46%
Dr. Sentyurin also highlighted that - according to the Forum’s projections - by 2040, the demand for natural gas is expected to increase at an annual average pace of 1.7%, corresponding to overall growth of 46%. Most of this demand growth will come from the Asia-Pacific region, with Europe continuing to be an attractive market for many gas producers.

В интервью «Nikkei» Министр энергетики Александр Новак сообщил, что к 2035 году производство СПГ в России увеличится почти в 5 раз и «достигнет около 20% доли в мировом производстве». The OECD sees global GDP growth rebounding to 3.4% in 2020, assuming that trade disputes are resolved and confidence rebuilds. This suggests that global oil demand growth will have scope to recover from 1.2 mb/d in 2019 to 1.4 mb/d in 2020.

RUSSIA'S FUND WILL BE $200 BLN
The NWF currently stands at $59 billion and is expected to quadruple to over $200 billion, or 12% of gross domestic product, in 2021. Under the law, Russia may start to use the fund as soon as it reaches 7% of GDP.
