Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz "thoroughly discussed" the current oil market conditions as prices have fallen by more than 20% in the past three weeks amid global oil demand concerns, a Kremlin statement said late Monday.

Brent crude was at $56.44 a barrel, down 18 cents, or 0.3%, WTI crude rose 10 cents to $51.66 a barrel,

The preliminary level for dry natural gas production in November 2019 was 2,896 billion cubic feet (Bcf), or 96.5 Bcf/d. This level was 7.4 Bcf/d (8.3%) higher than the November 2018 level of 89.2 Bcf/d.

Brent were 68 cents higher at $58.97 a barrel, WTI were up by 70 cents to $52.84 a barrel

In the AEO2020 Reference case, U.S. crude oil production reaches 14.0 million barrels per day (b/d) by 2022 and remains near this level through 2045 as tight oil development moves into less productive areas and well productivity declines.

Brent rose 66 cents, or 1.1%, to $60.17 a barrel. U.S. WTI was up 62 cents, or 1.2%, at $54.10 a barrel.

U.S. renewable energy consumption totaled 924 trillion British thermal units (Btu), which accounted for 12% of U.S. total primary energy consumption.

The price of gas on the wholesale market decreased from €23.2/MWh in 2018 to €13.6/MWh in 2019 (-41%).

Brent fell by $1.79 a barrel, or 2.95%, to $58.90, WTI was down by $1.63, or 3%, at $52.55.

The US State Department on Thursday set sanctions against companies in Dubai, Hong Kong, and Shanghai,

U.S. oil production from tight formations increased in 2019, accounting for 64% of total U.S. crude oil production.

Brent were up 31 cents, or 0.5%, at $62.35 a barrel, WTI were up 27 cents, or 0.5% higher at $55.86 a barrel.

For 2020, oil demand growth is revised up by 0.14 mb/d from the previous month’s assessment and is forecast at 1.22 mb/d, mainly reflecting an improved economic outlook for 2020. As a result, total world oil demand is projected to rise from 99.77 mb/d in 2019 to 100.98 mb/d in 2020.

U.S. crude oil production will average 13.3 million barrels per day (b/d) in 2020, a 9% increase from 2019 production levels, and 13.7 million b/d in 2021, a 3% increase from 2020.
