ASIAN INDEXES DOWN
Japan’s Nikkei stumbled 2% while South Korea’s KOSPI slipped 0.4%. Chinese shares were in the red for a second day with the blue-chip CSI300 index down 1.65%. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng skidded 2.2%.

Brent was up $1.01, or 1.6%, to $64.29 a barrel. WTI rose $1.02, or 1.7%, to $61.02 a barrel.

U.S. commercial crude oil inventories increased by 2.4 million barrels to 500.8 million barrels.

OPTIMISTIC OPEC
With non-OPEC supply forecast to bounce back by 950,000 b/d in 2021 to 63.8 million b/d, OPEC lowered the estimated demand for its crude by 240,000 b/d to 27.26 million b/d.
